This scarf is handcrafted from a very rare bolt of unused kimono silk. A long lovely stretch of a soft to the touch, autumnal “chayatsuji" (water garden scenery) complete with four seasons of flora ( cherry blossoms, peonies, maples and pines) in shades of purple, blue, red brown, taupe and pink. In between the floral silks, a brief strip of a blue and purple abstract silk adds interest and highlights.
